Such identifiers help us display advertisements within our Services, including personalised advertisements.

Guest Users: If you use our Services without creating an account, we will still collect your usage information, advertising information, device information and location information.
- Profile Information: When you log into Nebula using third-party platform accounts (such as Google, Facebook, Line and Twitter), we obtain your profile information including username, avatar and email address from such platforms, provided that you have granted us permission.
- Payment Information: When you top up your coin balance or purchase membership subscriptions, we obtain your payment information and updates thereof from our partnered third-party payment service providers (such as PayPal, Google Play Billing and PaysafeCard), including transaction time, transaction amount, payment method and serial number information.
- Statistical and Analytical Information: We obtain advertising attribution information for Nebula advertisements (such as conversion rates of advertisements we display on third-party platforms), access data, browsing and click data, as well as other information for statistical analysis of our Services from our statistical analysis service providers or other partners.
- Content on social media platforms: We obtain public posts from social media platforms (such as Line, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook), for example social media content you share, comment on or like in relation to Nebula, or interactions you make on Nebula-related social media pages.
- Information from other public websites or public sources: To the extent permitted by applicable data protection laws, we may collect your publicly available personal data from other public websites or public sources.
We may collect and use your personal data for the following purposes. If you fail to provide certain personal data to us, we may be unable to provide you with the relevant Services. For ease of reading, this section uses data categories instead of listing detailed data types. Please refer to Section I.A for the specific data types associated with each data category.
1. Account Registration To become a registered user of the Nebula Platforms, we will use the profile information you provide to administer your account and provide you with a series of practical functions.
2. Providing Notification Services We may collect and use your device information to send you message notifications via push notifications.
3. Providing Content Publishing Services When you use the content publishing functions on our Platforms, we collect your user-generated information. When you use the image upload function on our mobile application to publish content, we will request camera permission and storage permission to enable you to take photographs or upload images from the local storage of your device. Such permissions are only requested when you actively use image-related functions and are necessary to meet your needs for taking photographs and uploading local images.
When you share content from the Nebula Platforms to third-party social media platforms, we may collect your profile information.
4. Processing Payments and Transactions When you top up your coin balance or purchase membership subscriptions on the Nebula Platforms, we use your payment information to create and complete your orders, issue invoices and ensure smooth transactions.
5. Providing Personalised Content and Recommendations To provide you with personalised recommendations, including presenting, analysing, managing, improving, optimising, selecting and distributing book information, we will use your profile information, usage information, device information, location information and inferred information.
6. Providing Customer Support When you contact our customer support, we may use your profile information and communication information so that we can understand your needs and contact you as soon as possible.

Ensuring the Security of Our Services To provide you with Services in a secure manner and help us better understand the operation of the application, we need to use your profile information, usage information, advertising information, device information, location information and statistical and analytical information.

Conducting Statistical Analysis and Improving Our Services We may use your profile information, usage information, device information, communication information, inferred information and statistical and analytical information to conduct research, analysis and statistics for the continuous improvement and optimisation of our Services. You may contact us to apply for account deactivation. After verifying your identity and clearing all assets held within your account, we will process your account deactivation request. Once your account is deactivated, we will cease providing products and Services to you and delete your personal data in accordance with your request unless required by law to retain it.
We may send you essential service-related notifications, such as account security alerts, service update and maintenance notifications, notices of changes to laws and policies, and so on. Such notifications are necessary for us to provide Services and cannot be opted out of while your account remains active.
When you use our products or Services, we may send you emails or push notifications. You may opt out of receiving such notifications via “Profile - Settings - Notifications” within the application, or unsubscribe from emails.
Nebula is not directed to individuals under the age of 16 (or the age of majority applicable in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from such users.
